Welcome to Accommodation Services

Once you have chosen to study at the University of Salford one of the most important decisions you need to make is where you are going to live. Our Accommodation Services Team are here to help you make the right decision and answer any questions you may have.

We will start taking applications from new students for September 2010 from early April 2010. All new students who have applied to the University will receive an email as soon as we able to accept applications so please do not worry that you will miss out. If you would like to receive a copy of our new accommodation brochure please email accommodation@salford.ac.uk with your contact details and whether you would like an email version or a printed copy - the new brochure will be available from the end of March.

All first year undergraduate and postgraduate students, including international students, are guaranteed a place in university accommodation provided :

All accommodation on offer to University of Salford students is managed in accordance with the requirements of codes of practice which exist to safeguard the interests of customers.

Accommodation owned and managed by the University will comply with the requirements of the UUK Code of Practice whilst accommodation provided by others will be either managed in accordance with the ANUK Code of Practice or through a management agreement with the University. This will ensure that standards of service provision will as a minimum comply with either of the above codes.
