Arrival Dates
Castle Irwell, Horlock Court, Constantine Court, John Lester and Eddie Colman, Bramall and Matthias Courts
All students can move in from Monday 10 September - the only exception are nursing students whose contract starts on Monday 17 September. Students who are based in the UK are welcome to move in from Monday 10 September but may find the campus is particularly quiet. We recommend UK based students arrive from Saturday 15 September.
iQ Student Quarter
The contract at iQ Student Quarter starts on Saturday 15 September. Students who have signed a contract and paid their first term’s rent may move into their accommodation on Monday 10 September. The additional nights should be paid for on arrival. Please contact iQ Student Quarter directly to confirm your arrival date if you need to arrive before Saturday 15 September.
Early Arrivals Before Monday 10 September
All September 2012 contracts start on Monday 10 September (except iQ Student Quarter and Nurses' contracts), and the majority of students will not be required to be at the University before this date. If you need to move into your accommodation earlier because your course has an earlier start date please email your accommodation choice to request an early arrival. Any accommodation required prior to Monday 10 September will have an additional charge. We will do our best to help you but this is not guaranteed due to summer conferences and refurbishment programmes. Please do not arrive before Monday 10 September without prior arrangement because we do not have emergency accommodation.
